The Ravens met with linebackers Adrian Hubbard and Lamin Barrow at the NFL scouting combine.
Hubbard is a 6-foot-6, 257-pound outside linebacker from Alabama who started all but two games the last two seasons. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.69 seconds and recorded a 38.5-inch vertical leap in combine testing.
Hubbard is known for his ability to create leverage at the line of scrimmage and has excellent size. He had 33 tackles and three sacks last season after recording six sacks and 10 tackles for losses as a sophomore.
Hubbard said he emulates Ravens outside linebacker Courtney Upshaw, a fellow Alabama football alum.
"I’m very selfless, a team player, intelligent," Hubbard said. "I’m a tough guy and have a good understanding of the defense. Everyone likes to be around me. I’m goofy. I interact with everyone."
Barrow is a second-team All-Southeastern Conference selection from LSU who started every game last season and led the team with 91 tackles after finishing second on the team as a junior with 104 tackles.
Barrow ran the 40-yard dash in 4.64 seconds, had a 35-inch vertical leap and bench pressed 225 pounds 22 times.
"Physicality toughness and speed," Barrow said when asked what he brings to the table as a prospect. "With some of these fast receivers and running backs coming in, you’ve got to have speed to be able to get out there and cover it. At the end of the day you’ve got to be a physical guy to play linebacker."
