The Ravens held a meeting with Iowa tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz at the NFL scouting combine.

Fiedorowicz is a throwback tight end who blocks and has excellent size at 6-foot-5, 265 pounds and is also a sure-handed receiver. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.76 seconds, bench pressed 225 pounds 25 times and had a 31.5-inch vertical leap.

Fiedorowicz was named the Most Outstanding Receiver at the Senior Bowl.

An All-Big Ten Conference selection, Fiedorowicz caught a career-high six touchdowns last season with 30 receptions for 299 yards. He finished with 91 career catches for 899 yards and 10 touchdowns over his final 30 games of his career, catching at least one pass per game during that span.

"I think I proved to some of the coaches that I can be a guy who can block in-line but also stretch the field, Fiedorowicz said. "I think that might separate me from some of the other tight ends here. A lot of tight ends in the NFL are either blocking tight ends or receiving tight end."

Fiedorowicz tries to pattern his game after New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.

"I like watching Rob Gronkowski, someone I look up to," he said. "He can dominate both the line of scrimmage and down the field. That's who I kind of want to be like.

"We watched a lot of him and [former Patriots tight end] Aaron Hernandez. I was watching him on film. I always used to watch him in games, but when you see it break down as film it's even more impressive."
