LaQuan Williams had his first multi-catch game in win vs. Steelers

Ravens wide receiver LaQuan Williams, an undrafted rookie free agent from Maryland, had the first multi-catch game of his career in Sunday night’s 23-20 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The second of his two receptions came as the Ravens embarked on their 92-yard, game-winning touchdown drive in the fourth quarter. The 13-yard gain moved the chains for a first down.

“It’s just a great feeling being out there and having a chance to make a play, especially in such a key game,” Williams said before Thursday’s practice.

Williams, who doubled his career reception total with a pair of catches for 28 yards, is pleased that his hard work has gotten him to this point, but he knows nothing in the NFL is guaranteed.

“I’m a guy who came in undrafted, unnoticed,” Williams said softly. “And you just have to come in and keep working hard because they can replace you easily.”

Williams has been active in all eight games this season. He has made four catches for 46 yards.
