Most of the Ravens' top decision-makers are in Mobile, Ala., this week for the Senior Bowl. The week of practices followed by Saturday’s game will give team officials and scouts an extended look at many members of the 2014 draft class. It will also give head coach John Harbaugh an opportunity to fill the handful of coaching vacancies on his staff.
The Senior Bowl is like a big job fair of sorts as coaches from all levels travel there to network and to express interest in different openings. Harbaugh has plenty of vacancies to discuss.
The Ravens are looking for an offensive coordinator, a running backs coach and a secondary coach, and they also may be in the market for a quarterbacks coach depending on who they hire as offensive coordinator. If they stay internal and hire Jim Hostler, they’re going to need a wide receivers coach, too.
To this point, the Ravens have been mum about their efforts to find a replacement for Jim Caldwell at offensive coordinator. Harbaugh has already spoken to candidates, and he figures to talk to several more this week. The Ravens have one of the few offensive coordinator vacancies left, and free agency is still just under two months away, so time is still on their side.
As they ponder the hire, here is a look at all the offensive coordinator movement in the NFL already this offseason.
