Inside a raucous Ravens' locker room following the Super Bowl, cornerback Lardarius Webb couldn't stop smiling.

His team had just won the Vince Lombardi trophy without him on the field.

The Ravens' top cornerback and a $50 million player, Webb has been on injured reserve ever since the Dallas Cowboys game where he tore his anterior cruciate ligament.

Happy for his teammates, Webb is hoping to make a speedy recovery from his knee injury to try to get the Ravens back to this point next season.

"I'm just proud of my guys," said Webb, who noted that he's on track to make it back for next season from his second torn ACL since entering the NFL. "This is special. It feels awesome. To see all these guys getting their first ring is so great."

The Ravens are about to face a challenging offseason. The roster is going to change as they won't be able to retain everyone. There will be retirements, salary-cap casualties and free agents who cash in that the Ravens won't be able to afford or regard as luxury items.

When asked his opinion on the Ravens' prospects, Webb didn't hesitate, saying, "We will be back."
