Ravens starting defensive end Chris Canty was limited for the second consecutive day in a row due to a shoulder injury suffered Sunday against the New York Jets.

The injury isn't expected to affect his activity level Thursday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Meanwhile, rookie safety Brynden Trawick remained sidelined at practice with a high-ankle sprain.

The Steelers held their first practice of the week, upgrading linebacker Stevenson Sylvester (hamstring) to full participation.

Four players were limited, including offensive tackle Marcus Gilbert (ankle), linebacker LaMarr Woodley (calf), tight end Heath Miller (non-injury reasons) and safety Troy Polamalu (non-injury reasons).

Defensive end Brett Keisel (foot) participated fully as well as safety Shamarko Thomas (ankle).
