Ravens anticipate noisy game against Le'Ron McClain

Former Ravens Pro Bowl fullback Le'Ron McClain was never quiet, or shy about expresing his opinions.

Outspoken and ultra-confident in his abilities, McClain would openly lobby for more carries through his Twitter account and in interviews and once even printed up T-shirts for his McClain for running back campaign when he was in Baltimore.

Now, the Ravens expect a typically noisy game against their former teammate Sunday when McClain lines up in the backfield for the struggling San Diego Chargers. McClain, who rushed for a career-high 902 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2008 for the Ravens, has started seven of 10 games this season for San Diego since signing a three-year, $8.25 million contract in March that included a $2 million signing bonus, rushing for 38 yards on 11 carries and catching five passes for 13 yards while operating as a lead blocker for tailback Ryan Mathews.

"He's going to talk trash, that's Le'Ron McClain," Ravens nose guard Terrence Cody said. "It's going to be funny. He'll say something like, 'I'm right here, I'm here all day!'"

Ravens outside linebacker Terrell Suggs said that the constant commentary from McClain will include some colorful language.

"There is no clean stuff Le’Ron will say," Suggs said with a laugh. "You remember he started here, and you all know the kind of vocabulary we use when we’re out there. He’s definitely going to be jawing, and we’re going to give him a little jaw back.”
