Season in review: After the Cincinnati Bengals cut Miles loose, the Ravens signed him to a one-year deal in late September. He was active for 12 games, mostly on special teams, where he was a core player. He played 10 snaps on defense, occasionally subbing in for starting safeties Matt Elam and James Ihedigbo.
Stat that stands out: eight -- special-teams tackles for Miles, which was tied for third on the Ravens.
Outlook for 2014 and beyond: Miles is an unrestricted free agent. The coaches spoke favorable of his performance on special teams, and if the Ravens want him back for that phase, it shouldn't cost much.
