Season in review: Gradkowski had his share of rough moments as the replacement for six-time Pro Bowl center Matt Birk. Undersized at 6-foot-3, 300 pounds, Gradkowski had troubled generating an inside push for the running game and fared better in pass protection. Technically sound, Gradkowski improved as the season went on and held his own against standout defensive linemen like Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.
Stat that stands out: -18.1 -- Gradkowski's Pro Football Focus grade, tied for worst among the Ravens' offensive linemen.
Outlook for 2014 and beyond: Gradkowski hasn't secured his future as the Ravens' starting center and will face competition for the job during training camp. Gradkowski had minor offseason arthroscopic knee surgery and will be available for the offseason conditioning program, organized team activities and minicamps. He's expected to spend the offseason trying to add bulk and strength.
