Season in review: Expected to emerge as a playmaker or at the very least, a contributor in his second NFL campaign, Thompson's season never got off the ground. He sustained a foot injury early in the preseason and it lingered well into the regular season. Thompson caught four passes for 50 yards in Week 5 against the Bills, but otherwise, he was a nonfactor.
Stat that stands out: 5 ¿ Number of games in which Thompson was a healthy inactive.
Outlook for 2014 and beyond: Thompson is still under contract with the Ravens, but he's reached a crossroads with the team. He has yet to shown enough consistency in practice and during games to get a bigger role. He'll need a strong training camp next year to make the team.
