Season in review: Brown, who just finished his third season with the Ravens, played mostly on special teams, including in an important role as one of the gunners on the punt coverage team. The team's fourth cornerback, Brown played just 38 snaps on defense whether it was in mop-up duty or as a fill-in when one of the top three corners suffered an injury and was exploited for a couple of long receptions.
Stat that stands out: eight -- special teams tackles for Brown, which were tied for third on the team.
Outlook for 2014 and beyond: Starting cornerbacks Jimmy Smith and Lardarius Webb will be back in 2014, but Corey Graham is a free agent and his departure might create an opportunity for Brown to play in the nickel package. Brown will be a free agent in 2015 so his time with the team could be running out.
