Season in review: Canty was one of the team's most trumpeted offseason signings, joining the Ravens after four uneven seasons with the New York Giants. The biggest question mark with Canty was health, but he missed just one game for the Ravens while being a starter and reliable two-way player. His two sacks were a bit of a disappointment, but Canty made up for it by playing pretty well against the run.
Stat that stands out: one -- quarterback pressure for Canty in his final four games per Pro Football Focus.
Outlook for 2014 and beyond: Despite a salary cap hit of $3.17 million, Canty is expected to return for the second year of the two-year contract he signed last spring. The Ravens don't appear to have a young defensive end ready to take over for him, so he should still be a starter in 2014, assuming he is healthy.
