The Ravens will practice this afternoon and safety Bernard Pollard expects to be on the field and participating like he always does.
Pollard, who was forced out of Sunday's loss against the Philadelphia Eagles after the first quarter because of a rib injury, said he plans to play this weekend in the much-anticipated contest against the New England Patriots.
"I’m chilling. I’m ready to go," Pollard said today. "For me, I know my dogs are going to be ready. We got to be animals out there. We’re going to be ready to play football."
Asked about how much pain he's in, Pollard said, "I'm straight. This is not about me. It's about us going out there and trying to get that [win]."
Outside linebacker Paul Kruger, who missed the Eagles' game because of a back injury, also said that he expects to play.
"It’s feeling good," he said. "I’m going to be out there today running around. I’m just excited to get out there this week. Big game for us. I’m doing everything I can to get healthy. It’s killing me not to be out there every day.”
