Daryl Smith

The Ravens were looking for a replacement for retired middle linebacker Ray Lewis and settled on linebacker Daryl Smith, who played nine seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He signed a one-year contract valued at $1.125 million that included a $285,000 signing bonus. Smith, 31, has made an impression this preseason 31, as one of the Ravens' most active and aggressive defensive players.
