5. Who's not playing?:
John Harbaugh indicated that multiple players who've been sidelined in practice or are just coming off injuries are unlikely to play Atlanta. That includes: Pierce (hamstring), wide receivers Tandon Doss (hamstring), David Reed (ACL surgery) and Patrick Williams (lower leg), tight end Dennis Pitta (broken hand), offensive linemen Matt Birk (back spasms), Jah Reid (strained right calf), cornerback Jimmy Smith (back), linebackers Suggs (Achilles), Courtney Upshaw (sprained right shoulder), Dannell Ellerbe (hamstring), Darryl Blackstock (groin) and Josh Bynes (back), defensive end Arthur Jones (strained hip flexor). Plus, healthy veterans such as middle linebacker Ray Lewis and free safety Ed Reed (above) are expected to sit out or play sparingly rather than risk injuries.
