Harrison, an analyst for NBC, was unimpressed by the Ravens’ 30-27 victory over the Arizona Cardinals Sunday, lumping the Ravens in with the New York Giants, who barely nipped the Miami Dolphins, 20-17.
“Two teams that won today that still have some issues are the Ravens and the Giants,” Harrison said. “The Ravens have to find a way offensively to manufacture some touchdowns in the passing game.”
Harrison also didn’t find many positives in quarterback Joe Flacco’s performance, which included a tepid first half before finishing with a 31-of-51 outing for 336 yards.
“The last month of the season, he’s thrown one touchdown and four interceptions,” Harrison said. “He has to play better.”
NBC will broadcast next Sunday night’s telecast of the Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers contest. Analyst and former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Cris Collinsworth said he is eager to see which 5-2 team can create some distance atop the AFC North.
“No matter what happens, when you get Baltimore and you get Pittsburgh together, and we’ve talked about it before, it’s probably the most electric game that we do every year,” he said.
