As with all Sunday night broadcasts, NBC emailed a couple thoughts from Sunday Night Football analysts Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison.
“The Ravens had an emotional letdown going to Tennessee [on Sept. 18],” he said. “That won’t be a problem this week. They are going to have plenty of emotion with [current Jets coach and former Ravens defensive coordinator] Rex Ryan coming into town. Rex is going to have his guys pumped up, but John Harbaugh is also a very emotional guy. This is a big game for both teams because someone is going to come out of this game at 2-2.”
Harrison, the former New England Patriots safety who helped win two Super Bowls, took a strategic approach, singling out one Ravens position group that could be vulnerable.
“If I am the Jets, I’m attacking the Ravens secondary, in particular the cornerback position,” Harrison said. “They have some young corners; they take a lot of chances. They’re not very disciplined, a lot of pass interference calls. That would be a good opportunity for Mark Sanchez to attack these guys.”Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
