Brown suffered a strained left pectoral muscle, while Canty had a strained groin, and Brown, who had a minor knee injury, isn't even limping.
"It can be a lot worse," said Brown, who tried to go back in the Ravens' 14-6 win over the Cleveland Browns after he was injured. "I didn't know exactly what happened, but it felt like I like overstretched it. I'm just glad it wasn't serious."
Canty, who didn't finish the game, said: "I got OK news. Hopefully, I'll be out there on Sunday."
Running back Ray Rice (strained left hip flexor) is the most serious injury and is regarded as day-to-day this week. He's not expected to practice today, with the Ravens likely to make a decision on his status for Sunday later this week.
Rookie defensive tackle Brandon Williams is no longer in a walking boot after injuring his right big toe during the preseason.
"I'm just trying to not let it get you down and get back on the field," Williams said. "I'm making pretty good progress. I'm walking around, trying to get a feel for it. It feels good definitely to be out of the boot. It's one more step to getting closer to the field."
Wide receiver Deonte Thompson (sprained left foot) said he's hoping to practice soon.
"I'm hoping this week, but I'm not sure," Thompson said. "I just need to get comfortable putting pressure on the feet and cutting really hard and running routes with no pain. That's where we're trying to get to."
