Marshal Yanda and Kamar Aiken return to Ravens practice on Thursday

After missing Ravens practice on Wednesday, left guard Marshal Yanda and wide receiver Kamar Aiken are back.

After sitting out Wednesday’s practice, left guard Marshal Yanda and wide receiver Kamar Aiken took part in Thursday’s session.

Yanda has played in three of the Ravens’ last four games despite an injured left shoulder. Aiken, who has played in every game this season and has started three, was described as dealing with a thigh ailment.

It appears rookie left guard Alex Lewis (high right ankle sprain), tight end Crockett Gillmore (pulled hamstring), and running back Lorenzo Taliaferro (thigh) will miss their second straight day of practice as they were absent from the portion open to the media.

Running back Javorius “Buck” Allen also was not present. He was not listed on the team’s injury report distributed Wednesday.

Outside linebacker Terrell Suggs and center Jeremy Zuttah were absent, but Thursdays have become their usual days off as veterans.

UPDATE: Allen did not practice Thursday due to what the Ravens called a non football injury, according to the team’s injury report. The reasons for Suggs’ and Zuttah’s absences were not injury related.

Yanda, cornerback Jimmy Smith (back), and Aiken fully participated in Thursday’s session.

The Miami Dolphins, Sunday’s opponent, practiced for a second consecutive day without a trio of starters in wide receiver DeVante Parker (back), center Mike Pouncey (hip), and outside linebacker Jelani Jenkins (knee, hand). Offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen told Miami reporters that it will be a “bonus” if Parker can play.

Parker has caught 16 passes for 246 yards in his last three games. The Dolphins promoted wide receiver Rashawn Scott on Wednesday.

Four starters in left tackle Branden Albert (dislocated wrist), right guard Jermon Bushrod (calf), cornerback Xavien Howard (knee), and left guard Laremy Tunsil (shoulder) were limited for the second straight day. They were joined by middle linebacker Kiko Alonso (hamstring).
