The Ravens have retained long snapper Morgan Cox through a two-year, $1.61 million deal, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.
The contract includes a $250,000 signing bonus.
A former undrafted free agent from the University of Tennessee, Cox was a restricted free agent who wasn't extended an original-round-right of first refusal one-year tender of $1.32 million.
Instead, the Ravens are in the process of securing his services for the next two seasons.
Cox has been the Ravens' long snapper for the past three years.
Last season, the reliable 6-foot-4, 241-pounder snapped for 83 punts, 33 field goals and 42 extra points and tied a career-high with two special-teams tackles.
