Lions sign sixth-rounder Corey Fuller to $2.28 million deal

The Detroit Lions have signed former Woodlawn wide receiver Corey Fuller to a four-year, $2.28 million contract that includes a $123,100 signing bonus.

The sixth-round draft pick's contract includes minimum base salaries of $405,000, $495,000, $585,000 and $675,000

Taken 171st overall, Fuller ran track at Kansas for two years before the former indoor track Nike All-American transferred to Virginia Tech.

The 6-foot-2, 197-pound receiver caught 43 passes for 815 yards and six touchdowns last season and played in the East-West Shrine All-Star game, where he met with the Ravens. He also met with the Ravens at the NFL scouting combine.

Fuller is the younger brother of NFL safety Vincent Fuller.

At the combine, Fuller said he's been mentored by retired Green Bay Packers wide receiver and Baltimore native Antonio Freeman.
