One of the free agents the Ravens have displayed interest in is now joining the Green Bay Packers on a one-year contract.
Former Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Letroy Guion has agreed to terms with the Packers, according to his agent, Thomas Kleine.
The Packers brought Guion in for a visit Sunday and finalized the deal today. The Ravens hadn't made Guion a major offer or brought him in for a visit. The New England Patriots were also interested in the 6-foot-4, 303-pounder.
Guion, 26, could have been a fit for the Ravens' defensive line rotation after Arthur Jones signed a five-year, $33 million deal with the Indianapolis Colts.
Guion had 21 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble in 13 starts last season for the Vikings. The former Florida State player has 89 career tackles, five sacks and two forced fumbles.Copyright © 2014, The Baltimore Sun
