Ravens starting cornerback Lardarius Webb is hosting his fourth annual charity softball game on Sunday at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen.
The game benefits Webb's charitable foundation and will include him and several teammates, with the Ravens' offense and defense making up the two separate teams. Last year, quarterback Joe Flacco, running back Ray Rice and wide receiver Torrey Smith were among the participants.
The first pitch is set for 4:30 p.m., with gates opening at 2:30 p.m. and batting practice at 3:30 p.m.
Tickets start at $14, which includes general admission and parking. Tickets can be purchased through www.lardariuswebb21.com, www.IronBirdsBaseball.com and at the Ripken Stadium box office. For more information, call 410-297-9292.
“We look forward to hosting Lardarius Webb's annual softball game here at Ripken Stadium,” IronBirds assistant general manager Brad Cox said in a statement. "The celebrity softball game is always a fun-filled community event that brings Baltimore sports fans of all ages together for a great cause. This year, the event will bring a new level of energy as we celebrate the Baltimore Ravens' triumphant Super Bowl victory.”
