San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh emphasized that he hasn't allowed an emotional Super Bowl loss to the Ravens to dent his relationship with his older brother.

Jim Harbaugh said he called Ravens coach John Harbaugh just a few days after the 49ers' 34-31 loss in New Orleans.

"We just got a strong relationship, and it just always seems to get stronger," Jim Harbaugh said Friday at the NFL scouting combine. "Very close. We talked a little bit about the game, and some other things. We discussed some facets of the game, and some other football talk.”

Although the highly-competitive younger Harbaugh indicated that he's attacking the offseason "with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind," adding that he's "got the paw in the ground, scratching ready to go," he was adamant that the 49ers aren't dwelling on the loss to the Ravens.

However, falling short to his older brother didn't make a defeat any more palatable to Jim Harbaugh.

“No, it’s not easier,” Jim Harbaugh said.

As usual, the brothers remain wary about revealing too many tactical details about their respective strategies.

"I don't think we've shared a whole lot of strategy throughout the course of the season," Jim Harbaugh said. "It's definitely gotten less, the longer I've been in the league."
