Ravens inside linebacker Jameel McClain returned to practice today for the first time since suffering a spinal cord contusion last December against the Washington Redskins.
McClain remains on the reserve-physically unable to perform list, but can be activated at any time. He participated fully.
Backup nose tackle Terrence Cody returned to practice from a sprained left knee. Cody has been sidelined since getting hurt against the Houston Texans.
Cody was limited in his return.
Just three players weren't practicing: defensive end Chris Canty inside linebackers Josh Bynes and Albert McClellan.
Bynes has an infected finger, which coach John Harbaugh said isn't serious.
McClellan has been not practicing during the week and then playing special teams on Sundays.
Canty was listed with a thigh injury.
Several players were limited, including cornerback Chykie Brown (hamstring), center Ryan Jensen (foot surgery), nose tackle Haloti Ngata (left elbow), outside linebacker Courtney Upshaw (foot) and cornerback Lardarius Webb (strained hamstring).
Ngata briefly left the game Sunday during a 19-17 loss to the Green Bay Packers before returning and finishing.
"It wasn't that bad," Ngata said. "It wasn't bad enough to keep me out."
Defensive end Marcus Spears (knee) and wide receiver Brandon Stokley (hip, groin) participated fully.
"Man, I feel pretty good," said Spears, who has been out the past two games. "I think the way we went about it was real smart. I can go out and play and be the guy that I am instead of trying to hobble along and not give the team the best chance. Everybody has been great about it."
The Steelers ruled out wide receiver Markus Wheaton (finger).
Rookie linebacker Jarvis Jones didn't practice due to a head injury.
Four players were limited: offensive tackle Marcus Gilbert (quadriceps), defensive end Brett Keisel (abdomen), tight end Heath Miller (non-injury reasons) and outside linebacker LaMarr Woodley (knee).
