Browns nose tackle Phil Taylor suggested strongly Sunday that Ravens running back Ray Rice spit on him, prompting him to slap the Pro Bowl runner upside the head in retaliation.
Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Monday that he hasn't spoken to Rice about the confrontation and didn't see that when he reviewed the game.
There's no conclusive video evidence of Rice spitting during an argument with Taylor that preceded the head-slap.
"It was brought to my attention," Harbaugh said. "I watched it, I didn't see that on the tape."
Taylor was flagged for a personal foul.
“I usually don't do things like that, but something happened and I still have to keep my composure,” Taylor said.
When asked if Rice spit on him, Taylor replied: “Look at the film. You'll see.”
