Harbaugh comments on brother's controversial post-game handshake

Maybe it just seems like an every-week occurrence, but Ravens coach John Harbaugh was asked for at least the second time in as many weeks about a decision made by his brother Jim Harbaugh, who coaches the San Francisco 49ers.

Last week, the 49ers’ top wideout Josh Morgan was lost indefinitely after suffering a broken right ankle in the waning minutes of an eventual 48-3 rout of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

On Sunday, Jim Harbaugh got into an exchange with Detroit Lions Jim Schwartz for their awkward post-game handshake after San Francisco outlasted Detroit, 25-19. Schwartz claimed he was shoved and that he heard an obscenity, while Harbaugh conceded that he may have shaken Schwartz’s hand too hard.

Asked for his opinion, John Harbaugh said, “Jim won [the game], right? Someone went after Jim? Let’s put it this way: I’ve been in fights with Jim before, too. I won some early when we were in our childhood career. Then it got slanted the other way for a while. We’ve got one coming up on Thanksgiving night, don’t we?”
