In an email to The Baltimore Sun on Sunday night, Fox Sports spokesman Dan Bell confirmed reports that Billick's expired contract won't be renewed.
"We appreciate Brian's contributions to the NFL on Fox over the years and wish him the very best," Bell wrote in the email. The Big Lead first reported that Billick wouldn't return this fall.
Billick, who won Super Bowl XXXV with the Ravens in 2001, had an 85-67 record, including the playoffs, during his nine seasons as the team's head coach. He was replaced by John Harbaugh after the 2007 season during which the Ravens finished with a 5-11 record.
Billick, 60, hasn't coached since then and has drawn solid reviews for his television and radio work. He has contributed to NFL Network for several years and is expected to continue working for that network.
