The Ravens had a full contingent of players on the practice field Tuesday as they began their preparations for Sunday's season-opener against the Cincinnati Bengals at M&T Bank Stadium.

That included starting cornerbacks Jimmy Smith (chest contusion, lungs) and Lardarius Webb (lower back) and third cornerback Asa Jackson (sprained ankle).

All three appeared to be moving well on Tuesday.

Smith told The Baltimore Sun on Saturday that he's definitely playing against the Bengals, who feature Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Green.

"Absolutely, I'm back," Smith said. "I'm fine.”

Smith fell awkwardly in the preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys and was coughing up blood.

Webb missed all four preseason games after getting hurt July 25 during the second day of training camp.

Jackson sprained his ankle during a joint practice session with the San Francisco 49ers and missed the final three preseason games.

Running back Bernard Pierce and offensive tackle Jah Reid, who suffered concussions during the preseason, are practicing. Both players have passed mandatory baseline neurological exams under the NFL concussion testing protocol.
