Former Ravens coach Brian Billick interviewed for the Philadelphia Eagles'  coaching vacancy last week, a league source confirmed.

The interview was first reported by CSN Philly.

Billick won a Super Bowl with the Ravens following the 2000 season. He went 80-64 in nine seasons in Baltimore before being fired after the 2007 season and replaced by John Harbaugh.

The Eagles' brass, including owner Jeff Lurie and general manager Howie Roseman, interviewed Billick in Maryland, where he still resides.

Billick has drawn solid reviews for his work as a FOX Sports television analyst.
