The speedster didn’t play a snap offensively against the Pittsburgh Steelers and was limited to special teams. He struggled on outside containment on a late kickoff return that led to the game-winning field goal.
He has returned seven kickoffs for 201 yards, averaging 28.7 per return, after missing the first three games of the season with a sprained left foot. However, Thompson hasn't been involved on kick returns for the past two games.
“It’s pretty much been my health, but we’re going to get it going,” Thompson said prior to the Ravens' bye week. “The foot is a lot better. I hope to come in feeling like a million bucks after the bye. I want to get back in there and make some plays.”
