Ravens starting inside linebacker Dannell Ellerbe characterized his status as a last-minute decision heading into Sunday's kickoff against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Ellerbe was dressed out at practice Friday after missing the previous two days due to a right foot and ankle injury suffered against the San Diego Chargers.
"We'll see how it feels," Ellerbe said. "It's going to be a game-time. I'm getting better every day."
Ellerbe said the swelling has gone down, but indicated he didn't do much at practice Friday.
"I'm ready to go," Ellerbe said. "It went slow. I didn't do nothing today. .. The swelling, they say it's looking good. It's just the strength. I didn't turn it, somebody fell on it. I can't stop that."
Three key Ravens, who have missed extensive practice time this week, returned today and appear to be in good position to face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
Wide receiver/kick returner Jacoby Jones (knee) and Ellerbe (ankle, knee, finger) didn't practice Wednesday and yesterday but they were on the field this morning.
Safety Bernard Pollard (chest) was limited Wednesday and didn't practice at all yesterday but he was back out there today.
Tight end Ed Dickson (sprained knee) did not practice and his status is probably doubtful for Sunday because he hasn't practiced all week.
Injured linebacker Ray Lewis (torn right triceps) also was not practicing. On injured reserve with a designation to return, Lewis was eligible to start practicing yesterday. However, he's not allowed to play again until Dec. 16 against the Denver Broncos.
