Dickson, Ellerbe, Suggs sidelined at practice

Three starters were sidelined for the Ravens at practice today.

Pro Bowl outside linebacker Terrell Suggs didn't participate due to a torn right biceps suffered during the fourth quarter of a 23-20 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Meanwhile, tight end Ed Dickson (hyperextended right knee) and inside linebacker Dannell Ellerbe (right foot, ankle) didn't practice. Ravens coach John Harbaugh indicated Monday that both players might have a chance to return this week for Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins.

Six players were limited, including cornerback Jimmy Smith, who practiced for the first time since undergoing sports hernia surgery last month.

Also limited: linebacker Josh Bynes (thigh), safety James Ihedigbo (calf), cornerback Chris Johnson (strained hamstring), wide receiver Jacoby Jones (ankle) and safety Ed Reed (torn labrum in his shoulder).

The following players participated fully: cornerback Chykie Brown (ankle), fullback Vonta Leach (ankle), defensive end Pernell McPhee (right knee, thigh) and safety Bernard Pollard (rib contusion).

For the Redskins, linebacker London Fletcher (ankle), cornerback DeAngelo Hall (ankle, knee) and offensive tackle Trent Williams (thigh) didn't practice.

Wide receiver Pierre Garcon (foot), punter Sav Rocca and former Ravens and Maryland cornerback Josh Wilson (shoulder) participated fully.
