Barring a late setback, Pro Bowl kicker Billy Cundiff will be ready to go for the Ravens-Indianapolis Colts game tomorrow.
Cundiff missed practice Thursday and Friday with left calf soreness, prompting the Ravens to bring in veteran free agent kicker Shayne Graham. The Ravens have Graham on standby but at this point, they don't plan to make a roster move today.
That's as good of an indication as any that Cundiff's condition has improved steadily and he'll be ready to kick tomorrow. The Ravens had planned to make a roster move today if Cundiff didn't respond as they had hoped.
Ravens coach John Harbaugh acknowledged yesterday that Cundiff's injury wasn't serious and he was "hopeful" that he wouldn't miss the game.
Cundiff is 26-for-34 on field goal attempts this season. He missed two-of-three in last Sunday's 24-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns.
