Connecticut linebacker Sio Moore has visited the Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.
In addition to the Super Bowl champions and their AFC North rival, Moore has also visited the Dallas Cowboys, St. Louis Rams and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The All-Big East Conference selection is an athletic 6-foot-1, 245-pounder who recorded 72 tackles, 15 1/2 for losses as a senior, with 7 1/2 sacks and 11 pass deflections.
For his career, he registered 274 tackles and 16 sacks. As a junior, he had 86 tackles, 16 for losses, 6 1/2 sacks and six pass deflections. In his first year as a full-time starter, he had 110 tackles, 11 1/2 for losses and 1 1/2 sacks.
Moore ran the 40-yard dash in 4.62 seconds at the NFL scouting combine. He bench pressed 225 pounds 29 times and posted a 38-inch vertical leap. He had a 4.31 20-yard shuttle and a 7.49 three-cone drill.
Moore was born in Liberia, growing up in Connecticut and attending high school in North Carolina.
Moore has drawn high marks from draft analysts for his athleticism, tackling and ability to shed blocks.
