Christian Thompson expected to get back on the field Sunday

One week after being a healthy scratch and deactivated for the first time, Ravens rookie safety Christian Thompson is expected to be active Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys.

"It was a one-week thing," said Thompson, a fourth-round draft pick from South Carolina State who has played on the kickoff and punt return teams with no statistics this season. "They said I'm up."

Former University of Maryland and Poly wide receiver LaQuan Williams was active for the first time in a 9-6 win over the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday, making the tackle on the opening kickoff.

Williams was inactive for the first four games.

"Hopefully, that's the start of something," Williams said. 'In this business, patience is a virtue. I take the long road and stay prepared."
