( Baltimore Sun photo by Kenneth K. Lam / September 23, 2012 ) Flacco has never lost a start to the Browns, completing 123 of 198 career throws in eight games against them for 1,528 yards, 10 touchdowns, four interceptions and a 94.4 quarterback rating. Two years ago against the Browns, Flacco had a 128.7 passer rating with three touchdowns. He has completed 62.1 percent of his throws against the Browns. The Browns are missing their top cornerback, Joe Haden, while he serves a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy. Their secondary is vulnerable, allowing 269 passing yards per game to rank 27th in the NFL. Without Haden, the Browns' best defensive back is hard-hitting safety T.J. Ward. Ward leads the Browns with 24 tackles. Ward has a reputation for occasional borderline hits. |
