Middle linebacker Ray Lewis and offensive tackle Jonathan Ogden both got contract extensions to remain with the Ravens late in their careers, deals approved by Bisciotti. The inaugural pick in franchise history in 1996, Ogden was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame last year. A two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, Lewis is expected to join Ogden in Canton, Ohio, when he becomes eligible. Bisciotti has also maintained continuity in the front office with contracts for general manager Ozzie Newsome, one of the top executives in the NFL, and highly regarded assistant general manager Eric DeCosta, who's been designated as the next general manager whenever Newsome decides to step down.
