The Browns have hired former Ravens running backs coach Wilbert Montgomery, who parted ways with the organization after the season.
Cleveland also announced that they've hired former Ravens offensive line coach Andy Moeller for the same position. The hire was previously reported by The Baltimore Sun.
Former Ravens outside linebackers coach Mike Pettine is the Browns' new head coach. Pettine has also hired former Ravens defensive end Anthony Weaver as defensive line coach and former Ravens assistant strength coach Paul Ricci as strength coach.
"It was a good six years in Baltimore," Montgomery told The Sun in January. "It was a good run, but I understand why it's time for me to move on. I wish those guys well and hope they have a great season and wish them well. Things, they do run their course.
"It's no big deal. I've been around for a long time, as a player and a coach. I'm OK. It doesn't bother me. I'll be fine."
Before dipping to 660 rushing yards last season, Rice was selected to three consecutive Pro Bowls as he rushed for more than 1,100 yards each season witha career-high of 1,364 yards during the 2011 season.
