Former Ravens strong safety Bernard Pollard visited the Tennessee Titans on Friday, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.
Pollard is familiar with the AFC South as a former Houston Texans starter for two seasons prior to joining the Ravens.
The Ravens terminated Pollard's contract earlier this week, designating him as a post-June 1 release when they'll realize a $2 million in savings against the salary cap. He was due a $500,000 roster bonus that wasn't paid with him being released.
Pollard led the Super Bowl champions with 98 tackles last season, also recording two sacks, one interception and six pass deflections. He missed three games, playing the majority of the season with six cracked ribs.
Pollard missed some tackles in the Super Bowl, but the outspoken 6-foot-1, 228-pounder is a punishing hitter who plays with an intimidating style.
For his career, the former Purdue standout has 584 tackles, nine sacks, nine interceptions and 13 forced fumbles.
