As the Houston Texans dismantled the Ravens on Sunday in the most lopsided defeat for Baltimore during the John Harbaugh era, veteran strong safety Bernard Pollard was visibly upset on the sideline.
Secondary coach Teryl Austin went over to talk with an animated Pollard about whatever was bothering him.
Presumably, it was related to the Ravens' defensive struggles. Baltimore allowed 420 yards of total offense and 27 first downs during a 44-13 defeat.
Afterward, Pollard politely declined interview requests for the first time since joining the Ravens last year.
"I've got nothing good to say," Pollard said.
Ravens coach John Harbaugh didn't shed light on what angered Pollard during his weekly press conference.
"No, there's nothing that came to my attention about that," Harbaugh said Monday afternoon. "He's a fiery guy. He's a competitor."
