Jones didn't practice all week after suffering the head injury against the New England Patriots. He missed two games with a concussion during the 2011 season.
A pending unrestricted free agent expected to earn a big contract as one of the top players available at his position and in the prime part of his career, Jones has started 13 games this season and recorded 52 tackles and four sacks.
As expected since they practiced all week and their respective injuries are relatively minor, wide receiver Torrey Smith (hamstring) and running back Ray Rice (quadriceps) are both active against the Bengals. Also active are outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil (bruised, sprained ankle) and center Gino Gradkowski (right knee). All were listed as questionable.
Ravens cornerback Asa Jackson is inactive again due to a hamstring injury. The Ravens also deactivated safety Omar Brown, center Ryan Jensen, wide receiver Deonte Thompson, tight end Dallas Clark and outside linebacker John Simon.
The Bengals scratched tight ends Tyler Eifert and Jermaine Gresham, cornerback Terence Newman, running back Rex Burkhead, wide receiver Ryan Whalen and offensive guard Tanner Hawkinson
