Andy Reid 'very proud' of John Harbaugh

Ravens coach John Harbaugh and Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid worked together for a decade in Philadelphia.

During that time with the Eagles, Harbaugh developed from a special-teams coordinator and secondary coach to become the man Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti would select as his next head coach.

Five years later, Harbaugh is a Super Bowl winning coach following a dramatic 34-31 victory over the San Francisco 49ers in New Orleans. He has qualified for the playoffs and won at least one playoff game in each of his first five seasons in Baltimore.

Reid isn't surprised at all by Harbaugh's rise in the coaching ranks.

"John Harbaugh does a great job," Reid told The Baltimore Sun at the NFL scouting combine. "He did a great job when he was with me with the Eagles. He's done a phenomenal job as a head coach. I'm very proud of him. You know what? I think everyone that knew him knew he would do that. He's a heck of a football coach."
