After Daniels, Cody, Forsett deals, Ravens are $6.321 million under salary cap

The Ravens' new contracts for tight end Owen Daniels, running back Justin Forsett and nose tackle Terrence Cody weren't expensive.

Daniels' deal has a maximum value of $2 million, including a $1 million base salary and incentives of $1 million that can boost the value of the contract. He received no signing bonus or guaranteed money, and his salary-cap figure is $1 million.

Forsett and Cody received identical $730,000 base salaries, no bonuses or guarantees, and each count for $570,000 against the salary cap under the minimum salary benefit.

The Ravens are now $6.321 million under the salary cap under the rule of the top 51 salaries counting against the cap during the offseason.

The top 11 salary cap figures on the Ravens are: defensive lineman Haloti Ngata $16 million; quarterback Joe Flacco ($14.8 million); cornerback Lardarius Webb ($10.5 million); running back Ray Rice ($8.75 million); guard Marshal Yanda ($8.45 million); outside linebacker Terrell Suggs ($7.8 million); outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil ($3.375 million); tight end Dennis Pitta ($3.2 million); offensive tackle Eugene Monroe ($3.2 million); defensive tackle Chris Canty ($3.166 million); and punter Sam Koch ($2.8 million).
