That said;, let's talk about all the defensive players leaving the team and why everyone should just take a chill pill and let Ozzie do his job.
If you look back before the playoffs and Super Bowl win, and go through the box scores of each and every game you will see a defense that gave up 200 to 400 yards per-game. Our defense was awful! Even in victory, these guys made us suffer through nail-biter endings, and almost losses. We beat the Raiders but gave up 422 yards total offense. Cleveland 357 & 290 yards.
We were ranked #17 last season... for god's sake.
Not one person crying about loosing the uh... older players can say our defense as it was, could climb back to "that number one spot" next season. We have the best minds in football, and they know the strengths and weaknesses of each and every player on this team -- they know these guys better than they know themselves.
Let me be the first to say it: because of the bold moves the Ravens are making now, we WILL be even better than we were last year, with a 14-2 record, and another Super Bowl appearance.
Go Ozzie!
