So what'll it be, Dee? Dr. Phillips star Dee Hart has Michigan just ahead of Alabama and Auburn, for now

Dee Hart may very well not know where he's going to play college football, but right now he's just not saying. His best friend, Ha'sean Clinton-Dix, says he knows where he's going to play.

It could all be a ruse. It could all be wishful thinking on Clinton-Dix's part.

It could all be a predetermined skit arranged by the two pranksters. These guys do like to have fun.

But at Monday's first official spring practice, Clinton-Dix said Hart is going to Alabama, the same place the 6-2, 210-pound safety Clinton-Dix committed to three weeks ago.

Don't think he's not leaning on his best friend ... pushing him hard to commit to the Tide.

"Oh yeah, he's trying," Hart said after practice.

But Hart doesn't come across as convinced about the decision as Clinton-Dix.

"If I had to say today, it would be Michigan," Hart said. "But right now it's Michigan, Auburn and Alabama, in no specific order."

There's that Auburn name again. Hart has been through a period this spring where Auburn was his top team. Michigan was up there shortly after last season when Hart said if he were committing back then it would be Michigan.

But then Clinton-Dix got him on the Crimson Tide train and it was Alabama for a while.

"Me and my auntie and my mom went up to Michigan and we liked it … it was fun," Hart said. "We plan on going to Auburn sometime this summer or spring, and we're going to go see Alabama this summer."

Michigan media outlets were braced for Hart to commit to the Wolverines last week. He does have ties there in former Dr. Phillips receiver Ricardo Miller, who left DP last year to enroll at Ann Arbor (Mich.) Pioneer High where he played his senior year and then enrolled early at Michigan.

Alabama has Clinton-Dix … oh, and that little thing they call the national championship, and Hart has liked Auburn ever since his visit earlier this spring.

So he does have a difficult decision, or at least that's how it appears.

"I could make a decision anytime soon," Hart said. "I was thinking May 22, but that might not work out … so we'll just see where it goes. I'm not in any rush anyway. I'm graduating early, but I'm really not in a rush."

Whoever gets him is getting one heck of a talented athlete. He's fast. He makes cuts in full sprint and leaves guys embarrassed to even go home. He can turn screen passes into home runs. He's smart, likeable and just an all-around good kid, just like his buddy Clinton-Dix.

He's the best player in Central Florida, in my opinion, as a pure athlete. Oh, and did I mention he was fast?
