Quarterback: A
Despite his receivers dropping passes early, Joe Flacco showed no frustration and ripped into the Patriots in the third quarter, completing 11 of 18 passes. The back-shoulder throw to receiver Anquan Boldin early in the fourth quarter was a beauty.

They aren't aware that mnay of us actually have lives outside of these forums that take them away and cannot always post on this site. I was in Florida all week and watched the game down there. Incredible win. We finally got three good games in a row out of Flacco. Something that has hindered us greatly in getting to the Super Bowl in the past. It was an incredible team win. The defense shut Brady down. Quite often, scoring 28 points will not guarantee you a win against the Patriots. But the defense held them to 13. Awesome!!! Flacco had a great game and he may finally have turned the corner after 5 long years of waiting. I still don't like his demeanor and I'm not quite ready to buy a Flacco jersey but let's hope he can have another great game and help the Ravens win a Super Bowl. I am pulling for him. But I am still waiting for him to put up good numbers during the regular season, make it to a Pro Bowl and become a true leader on this team.
GO RAVENS!!!
I can't imagine how great the Ravens could have been over the last five years if that stupid defense of theirs hadn't topped out between 2nd and fifth all the time. They completely wasted Flacco's top 18 performances and cost us several SB appearances. Plus, that defense offered no leadership behind that Ray Lewis guy. Flacco had to suffer the stress of leading those teams in to battle too, since no one else was up to the job. Cheney's right. Flacco is the only reason those teams even got to the playoffs and ever won. If we could have kept that lousy defense off the field we'd have won Super Bowls every one of those seasons behind Flacco. The defense would get off the field so fast that the offense would get too tired to keep up with Joe and we'd eventually lose. Damn that defense. Damn them all to hell.
I think we can put the elite debate to rest. Flacco is certainly elite enough. The guy has been awesome in the playoffs.
