Quarterback
Joe Flacco continued his hot streak and dominance in the playoffs. His consistency has improved with his mechanics, and he appears to have more pocket awareness. There were several times he stepped up in the pocket to make big plays, something he didn't do earlier in the year.

"Flacco is not suddenly the benficiary of a brand new offense that doesn't hold him back - it's the same thing Cam Cameron ------(and eventually you say)-- Cameron's play calling WAS suspect"
Glad you can finally admit that, you may want to go back and read some of your old posts regarding your defense of Cameron. You have a very selective memory.
If you think, or are trying to imply that the firing of cameron was not a huge turning point for this team you are just reinforcing why so many people find your posts so ridiculous.
The play calling, lack of rythym, inability to make changes during the game, stubborness, controlling nature and inability to develop a culture of good communication within the offense WAS holding Flacco and the TEAM back. That is why he was fired!
The decision to replace him helped the entire team including the offensive line. If you disagree, or try to twist, negate the huge positive impact this decision had on Flacco and the final results you are ??? so take it up with Harbaugh and the organization. Does anyone think for a minute that we would have won had this decision not been made.
Yeah, Joe just decided he was going to flip the switch because he was reading what you and David had to say. It had nothing to do with the decisions the coach and organization made.
Go back and read your old posts.
Scanned a few troll comments, so I have to add this; According to both Flacco and Harbaugh the offense did not change, but for some alterations in situational play calling by Caldwell. Flacco is not suddenly the benficiary of a brand new offense that doesn't hold him back - it's the same thing Cam Cameron developed, as so stated by Flacco, Harbaugh, and even Biscotti. There was no time that late in the season to re-invent an offense when players needed more rest and downtime than ever. The "offense" was not holding Flacco down. Cam Cameron's play calling WAS suspect, (and even that problem started surfacing again to some degree in the playoffs and SB 2nd half (nakedrun, naked run, obvious pass, punt) ) What changed was the re-oriented O line and the fact that Flacco just decided to ramp it up and make plays under pressure like an elite QB - so good for him. Unlike the past 5 years he audibled for plus yardage and scrambled for big-gain completions, which he hardly EVER did before. Before he got happy feet and panicked. It's cool to see what he's doing now, so I hope he keeps it up, but the point there is, trolls, Joe Flacco needed to do this. No OC or HC can be on the field after the snap and make him MAKE plays, not just run them. I wish he'd have shown that moxy for the last five years, but he didn't, but HE IS NOW. GOOD FOR HIM. And good for the Ravens.
