CB Corey Graham relishes opportunity with the Ravens

Among the first to congratulate Graham on his recent success was his older brother

Clark, who Graham said was held at the Federal Correctional Institution in Cumberland, was released in July 2009. The Ravens cornerback is hopeful that his brother will be at M&T Bank Stadium to see him play later this season.

"He's always been the one that supported me to the utmost. He's always been behind me, he's pushed me to be who I am today," Graham said. "He's gone through a lot in his life and right now, he'd doing great. He's working, he's staying away from the streets. All you can ask for is a person to go out there and do your best. That's what he's doing and I'm trying to do the same thing."

Good for Corey. It is about time that he got a chance to play. Unfortunately, he would still be watching Jimmy Smith getting faked out of his shoes if it wasn't for the injury that sidelined him. This is the "Harbaugh Way". Play people who don't perform instead of giving those who might perform a chance. While I am not ready to nominate Corey for the Pro Bowl, at least for one game he was a vast improvement over what we had been seeing from the media hyped "shutdown corner" who has shut down no one. At least Corey chanllenged receivers instead of letting them have free run of th field. I would rather he fail being aggressive than to be complacent and play soft. Aggressive is "Ravens" football and it is the only way we have a chance to beat good teams.

Seeing Corey being interviewed the other day he was bright, happy, confident, kind of the real deal. I watched the Sunday game again yesterday and the Ravens played well.... offense somewhat aside, but Corey was very impressive with great timing, in the right place, and Raven tough. I'm looking forward to the Charger game with good confidence thanks to Corey and the rest of the greatly improving Raven defense.
