Patriots WRs Wes Welker and Brandon Lloyd vs. Ravens CBs Cary Williams and Corey Graham

The Ravens need to be aggressive early and put their hands on the Patriots receivers. If the Ravens defenders can slow them down at the line of scrimmage, they can throw off the timing patterns of quarterback Tom Brady. Lloyd and Welker can gain yards after the catch. |

This was sarcasm right? Welker vs Graham and Williams even?

Your not factoring in the WIND - projected to be 25+mph. Both offenses will be using the short passing game with emphasis on the run. Need to jam the N.E. WR's at the line and blitz often.

The wind is going to hurt our long-ball low-percentage game more than it will hurt Brady's short -pass ball control game. Flacco's only 21st in the league in third down converison passing as it is, so those issues are stacking up against us. The recent O line improvements should help him out there, but even before the improvements the O line was rated 16th in pass protection - right in the middle of the pack, so they were not as awful or responsible for failure as people have imagined. Flacco just needs to speed up and get rid of the ball more efficiently.
